So 2 Weeks Ago, My Husband Bought Me A 2016 Eco-Boost For An Anniversary Present.. Not To Be Outdone, Today I Bought Him A 2016 GT
First of all… this is awesome. Huge props to them for both loving Mustangs and knowing what the other person wants. That’s a relationship we can all aspire too.
A couple things though. These are people that have waaaaaaaaaaaaay more money than me, which is fine, but I can’t even fathom doing something like this. I can’t imagine being able to surprise my spouse with a new car, or to have her respond with a new car of my own.
Also, as cool as this is, even if I had the money, I would never do something like this, unless I knew 100% that it was what she wanted. I would hate to get the wrong color or anything like that. Heck, I even had my wife pick out her own engagement ring because I didn’t want to spend that much money on something that wasn’t the exact thing she wanted.
It sounds like this couple got rid of a 2015 Fiesta ST to be able to fit both of these, which makes it seem like they might go through cars pretty quickly. So if one of them isn’t totally thrilled with their gift, swapping it out won’t be much of an issue.
Even this is something I’ll likely never be able to do, you have to admire how awesome it is. They’re setting the standard for relationships everywhere.
